Circle
A candidate who is qualified for the right to exhibit his/her works with Comic Avenue.


Qualification of Applicants

  1. Applicants must be 15 years of age or over.

  2. Applicants must understand and strictly comply with the Comic Avenue’s rules and regulations.

  3. Applicants must be determined and can create works that are worthy to be displayed and/or sold at Comic Avenue.

  4. Applicants must be able to organize and manage their booth and area around it.

  5. Applicants must be able to come to the event, register within 9.30 A.M., and finish decorating their booth within 10.00 A.M.

Application and Selection Process

  1. Register your application within the given timeframe.

  2. The team reviews applications, rejecting incomplete or misrepresented ones.
    Your application may be rejected if the team finds that:
    • Information is incomplete or insufficient for consideration.
    • Intentional misrepresentation, false claims, and/or providing inaccurate information.
    • Negative history, such as causing inconvenience/disturbance to others, abandoning a booth without valid reasons, or neglecting to comply with the event rules as previously announced.
  1. A lottery system selects participants.

  2. The list of “Reserved Booth Rights” is announced on Facebook, and payment details are sent via email.

  3. Pay within the specified timeframe; otherwise, rights may be revoked, and a lottery held for remaining booths.

  4. The list of “Approved Booth Applicants” is announced on the Facebook Page.

Remarks

  1. Booth allocation is based on the team’s working process on the event day, booth type, and/or fan zone code specified in your application.
  2. Special requests such as health-related limitations or booth proximity requests may not all be accommodated, but the team will do its best to consider them.
  3. If any qualified applicants cancel the booth without a good reason, they will receive a penalty and will not be able to participate in the next event. Please note that in this case registration fees will not be refunded.
  4. The circle’s right cannot be sold or given to anybody else. If the deal is caught, both parties will receive a penalty and will not be able to participate in the next event.
  5. If a force majeure event occurs, such as an accident or illness, applicants are expected to inform and submit the evidence within 7 days after the event.
  6. The team may request a copy of your ID for receipt documentation. This is applicable only to those with booth rights (sent with payment).

  • Cutout is used to promote the Circle that will participate in our event.
  • You can use your previous work or make a new one but it must be your creation only. No official artwork or other artist’s work or Ai Generate image.
  • For Novel/Fiction circles if you don’t have any picture to promote, you can use words or sentences to promote your work as well.
  • This Cutout will be used for promotion on our Facebook Page, So please keep it PG-rate.

How to do and submit ‘Cutout’

  • 1. Download TEMPLATE > Cutout_Template
  • 2. Draw/Decorate your cutout and put your circle’s name on it same as the sample.
  • 3. Please save it as ‘.JPG’ only and name it as your Circle’s name that you use for submit
  • Only .JPG/.PNG file No ‘zip’ or ‘winrar’ file
  • 4. Upload your Cutout via Circle’s application form.

A menu card is a list of works used to promote works to be released at Comic Avenue.

**Do not impersonate or modify the logo for other purposes.

**You can freely choose to submit or not submit the menu to be promoted on the event’s official platform, depending on your convenience. If you do, please follow our rule as listed below.

Regulations for submitting the menu:

  1. There is no limit on the size and style of the menu.

  2. Only .JPG or .PNG file

  3. Limited to 1 manu per 1 circle (counted from the circle name, not the number of SP).

  4. Works and decoration must be rate G or PG-15 **Refer to the criteria of the event**

  5. Menu must not contain R-18 products/works, including:
          – Product photo
          – Price
          – Various R rated writing

    But you can put on an introductory text so that viewers can follow along to find out more information.
    • Original works :
      You can specify the title, type of work (such as Yuri) and Link for more information
    • Fanworks :
      You can specify the title, fandom, Character’s name or pairing, work type and Link for more information

Note

1)  Staff will upload the menu by dividing the updates into 1-2 rounds per day until the end of the period. After that, there will be no more updates from staff.

2)  Menus posted on the ‘Official Facebook Page’ will be sorted by submission time, not by booth number.
